MST Law Invited to Speak on Islamic Estate Planning by University Islamic Financial (UIF)

MST Law co-founders Amro Shamaileh and Furqan Mohammed spoke at a national webinar sponsored by University Islamic Financial (UIF) on April 25, 2020, as part of UIF’s “Weekly Webinar” initiative.  Among other things, the IW executives spoke about the requirements of an Islamic Will, the benefits of secular estate planning, and the benefits of creating a trust to manage assets. The webinar drew over 600 registrants from across the country.

“Weekly Webinars” is an initiative sponsored and hosted by UIF to engage and educate Muslim Americans on topics that may be of interest to them.

MST Law Co-Founder Furqan Mohammed Recognized as a Rising Star for Fifth Consecutive Year by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine

Mohammed, Shamaileh & Tabahi, LLC Founder, Furqan Mohammed, was selected as a “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine for the fifth consecutive year (2016-2020). MST Law Founder Furqan Mohammed Attends South Asian American Digital Archives’ (SAADA) Annual Gala in Chicago, Illinois

Furqan Mohammed attended the South Asian American Digital Archives’ (SAADA) Annual Gala held at the beautiful Newberry Library in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. The Gala, titles “The Hidden Histories of South Asian Chicago,” saw attendees from across the country gather to support SAADA’s critical mission of documenting and preserving the South Asian American history in the United States.

National Muslim Law Students’ Association Invites Founder Furqan Mohammed to Speak on Private Practice Panel

Attorney Furqan Mohammed was invited to speak at the National Muslim Law Students Association’s Annual Conference, held in Chicago on November 1-2, 2019 and sponsored by the Northwestern University School of Law and the University of Chicago School of Law. Furqan spoke about life in BigLaw and his transition to his own law firm and what law students can do today and in the near future to get their career off to a strong start.

New York Times Cites and Features Attorney Furqan Mohammed in its Feature Length Article Titled “New Yorkers Preyed on Chicago Cabbies”

Furqan Mohammed Attends Indo American Gala in Oak Brook

MST law Partner Furqan Mohammed, a long time supporter of the Indo American Center (IAC), attended the IAC’s Annual Gala held in Oak Brook, Illinois. The event, held every year, is one of the primary sources of revenue to the IAC, which provides critical services (e.g. literacy, workforce development, immigration, public benefits, etc.) to thousands of indigent community members in the North Side of Chicago.
