MST Law Founder Furqan Mohammed Cited by Editorial in Chicago Tribune

The Chicago Tribune recently published an Editorial titled “We were wrong to abandon Chicago’s taxicabs for ride-shares and the city now needs to find a fix.” Furqan, known as a taxi industry specialist, opined that most of the cabs were inactive, and many of the medallions are sitting in storage due to foreclosures, surrenders and unpaid fees/taxes. The Editorial staff concluded that the City of Chicago needed to encourage more taxis to come back, waive the fines and fees, and take concrete steps to level the playing field for medallion owners and TNP drivers. WGN Interviews MST Attorney Furqan Mohammed in Cover Story Titled “Covid, Crime & Chaos: A WGN Investigates Special”

WGN Channel 7 aired a special premiere event on April 24, 2021, discussing the most notable stories in the one year following the pandemic lockdown. This segment included a recap of the impact covid has had on the Chicago taxi industry. Attorney Furqan Mohammed was featured in the original story in July 2020 as an industry expert and was interviewed again in April 2021 to see if the industry had recovered at all. Loyola University Chicago School of Law Invites Furqan Mohammed to Speak at Summer Professional Development Series Talk for Young Lawyers and Law Students

Partner Furqan Mohammed was invited to speak at the Loyola University School of Law’s Summer Professional Development Series. The topic of Furqan’s talk was “Finding, Acquiring and Keeping Clients Happy.” Loyola invited alumni to speak on topics that would benefit law students and recent graduates. Among other things, Furqan talked about starting his own law firm focusing on Islamic estate planning, the importance of client service, and how to continue to expand your professional network. MST Law Invited to Speak on Islamic Estate Planning by University Islamic Financial (UIF)

MST Law co-founders Amro Shamaileh and Furqan Mohammed spoke at a national webinar sponsored by University Islamic Financial (UIF) on April 25, 2020, as part of UIF’s “Weekly Webinar” initiative.  Among other things, the IW executives spoke about the requirements of an Islamic Will, the benefits of secular estate planning, and the benefits of creating a trust to manage assets. The webinar drew over 600 registrants from across the country.

“Weekly Webinars” is an initiative sponsored and hosted by UIF to engage and educate Muslim Americans on topics that may be of interest to them.

MST Law Co-Founder Furqan Mohammed Recognized as a Rising Star for Fifth Consecutive Year by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine

Mohammed, Shamaileh & Tabahi, LLC Founder, Furqan Mohammed, was selected as a “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine for the fifth consecutive year (2016-2020).
