Attorneys Amro Shamaileh and Furqan Mohammed Publish Article in Chicago Dispatcher Regarding Public Misconceptions About Asset Protections and Land Trusts

Furqan Mohammed and Amro Shamaileh, leaders in renegotiating and settling medallion debt, published an article in the Chicago Dispatcher titled “Land Trusts: Misconceptions and Limitations.”  The article aims to educate taxi medallion owners and operators about the risks and benefits of asset protection tools like land trusts and clarifies misconceptions in the industry.  The Chicago Dispatcher is Chicago’s premiere newspaper educating taxi drivers, public chauffeurs and the riding public about issues affecting Chicago’s transportation industry.

Furqan Mohammed Attends National Association of Muslim Lawyers (NAML) Conference in Chicago and Serves as its Programming Co-Chair

After months of hard work creating and coordinating the programming for the National Association of Muslim Lawyers’ (NAML) 2017 Annual Conference, Furqan Mohammed attended the conference to watch his programming come alive.  There were approximately 200 attorneys in attendance.  Presentation topics included immigration law policies under President Trump, engaging Muslims in the political landscape, and special break-out sessions pertaining to the intersection between Islamic and secular law.  Special keynote addresses were provided by Illinois Senator Dick Durbin and Faiz Shakir, the National Political Director for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

All Three Founders of MST Law Attend Palestinian Students Scholarship Fund (PSSF) Dinner as PSSF’s Pro Bono Counsel
